"The extra activities in La Serena will consist visiting pisco vineyards in which we are invited to participate of the Capel party, my main sponsor, good food, too much pisco sour, at night we will visit an astronomy observatory. This region is particularly famous due to the cleanliness of its skies. And in San Pedro de Atacama we will fly over the Valley of the Moon, Valley of Death , and geysers.
Our flight Director will be Mr. Dominic Chemello who is arriving with his group to Chile on feb 9th. I go with them to La Serena , so I will see you there. Dominic was in 2005 with us in San Pedro de Atacama, so our chief commanding flight director officer will help (nice title..ehhh…’) us.
One important thing, the first flight will be Friday 12th at evening, this flight will be dedicated to the media press, authorities and sponsors. Pick up trucks will be given in La Serena and will introduce you the chase crew, some of them speak English"
