Although David is home safe and sound from Chile, don't stop checking the blog. He has 3,000 photos to sort through and post. It will be interesting to see the 'before' shots of some areas that probably look much different today.

Home Safe

David is home safe and was not there for the earthquake, thank God. We are both feeling very blessed that he missed the disaster, and our hearts and minds are with everyone he met there and the people of Chile. (lesson learned: when traveling, have a disaster plan with folks back home. We have no clue what we would have done if he had still been there)

Now that the balloon flying is done, the last week is for seeing the sights. Here's some pictures of the final flights and the scenes of Chile that follow.....

Lost in Chile

It is a 5star hotel in downtown Santiago next to all the touristy stuff.  $99.00 per night
Originally we were not scheduled to get back until Friday 2/26 morning
but the last event did not work out (Alfredo's shitting planning) so we are on
our own until then.  I am working on Alfredo to get me an earlier flight back but
will not know until Monday.  Meanwhile I am a tourist in Santiago (I might learn to speak Mexico).
Will let you know new schedule as soon as I know.  Dominic and Dawn went off to
some small coastal town to go on a fishing trip until Thursday. 
I am on an adventure!!!

Lunch on the beach

Here is a picture of our lunch on the beach. I have wifi in my cabana now so I will send you pictures and stuff.   But right now we have to go do a glow / tether on the beach after the mayor's speech.  We finally flew yesterday for a short evening flight at the country club golf course.  Love you all - David
